This wedding day was filled with joy and surprises! Sit down for a bit and I will tell ya the whole story.
The day started at L’Esprit Salon in Livonia with Kelly on hair and Megan on make up. These ladies did a fabulous job. Dawn looked like she was ready for the red carpet.
My Don went with Donnie to get his dad and capture some photos of the guys getting ready.
Hint: the jerseys are a surprise. More on that story later!
We met up with the girls at St. Michael Lutheran in Canton for the pre-ceremony getting ready. I love this picture of Dawn’s sister Wendy admiring her sister.
Dawn made all of her own bouquets and flower arrangements. She did a beautiful job! And those shoes are amazing!
The ceremony performed by Pastor Drex Morton was beautiful. Donnie and Dawn couldn’t contain their emotions. These two are are absolutely gorgeous.
After the ceremony they exchanged gifts. I truely thought that Donnie was going to fall out on the floor when he opened his Movado watch! Dawn was just as pleased with this simple little key chain with her new intials. Donnie said she slept with it and she carried it around all day the next day!
